Free agency, the NBA‘s annual period of reconstruction, is mostly complete—leaving us with 30 reconfigured, stripped down or boldly augmented rosters.
We could look at them cautiously, acknowledge we don’t know much about how they’ll function in practice and hold off on judgment. In the spirit of magnanimity, we could agree that for the next three months, everyone’s a winner.
Or we could rank them, organizing all 30 rejiggered rosters into an order reflecting their potency.
Let’s go with the latter route.
