ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and Ramona Shelburne reported Saturday that the New York Knicks are progressing toward contract talks with David Griffin.
Per the report, Griffin has met with the Knicks on multiple occasions, and the expectation is that he is in line to be offered the general manager position with Steve Mills moving to president of basketball operations.
The team president role was vacated when the Knicks and Phil Jackson mutually agreed to part ways this offseason.
