JJ Redick Rumored to Be Target of ‘Hard Push’ in Free Agency by 76ers, Nets

While the Los Angeles Clippers may be prioritizing Blake Griffin and Chris Paul in free agency, it’s possible their third-best starter hitting the open market will have better offers on the table.

Kevin O’Connor of The Ringer reported the Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia 76ers are expected to make a “hard push” to sign JJ Redick. The guard stretches the floor and also could be a potential steadying veteran presence on either youth-laden roster.

Redick, 33, averaged 15.0 points and 2.2 rebounds per game in 2016-17 while shooting 42.9 percent from three-point range.
